Strong Form: A Way to Keep Going When It’s Hard

I was thinking — if I had a child going through what I’m experiencing right now, I wouldn’t say things that project fear or doubt. I wouldn’t try to control their path or dim their light with my own unresolved fears.

I’d whisper to them,

“Strong form, baby.”

Strong form — not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, spiritually.

It reminds me of what Brené Brown says: “Strong back, soft front, wild heart.” That kind of strength. The one that isn’t about walls or hardness, but about rootedness. The kind that lets you stay grounded in your truth while still being open, while still dancing with possibility.

In fitness, good form is everything. It helps you prevent injury. It helps you lift heavier and better. It teaches you to use your body wisely — like flipping a tire with your legs and not straining your arms. You build strength by practicing good form, not just by adding more weight.

Maybe it’s Cindy — me — whispering in this moment,

“Strong form.”

A reminder that I can. That I am ready enough for this next part of my journey.

The courage to lift heavier in life isn’t some ego-driven hustle. It’s knowing there are things you can’t control, but still choosing to show up.

Choosing to have a strong back to carry what is yours,

a soft front to stay human and open,

and a wild heart that trusts the unknown.

Strong form is staying aligned with your values even when you’re unsure of the road ahead.

Strong form is choosing peace when others pressure you to perform.

Strong form is saying yes to what feels right and no to what drains you.

And with each rep, each decision, each breath — you get stronger.

You lift heavier.

You move forward.

Strong form, baby. Strong form.
